Your role

The role of Standards and Compliance Auditor – Information Security leads the implementation of new or changes to management system standards, industry standards and some legal and regulatory requirements.

This role provides technical & specialist advice and guidance on the following:

  • ISO 27001:2013 – Information Security
  • PCI DSS – Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard
  • Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus
  • ISO 22301:2012 – Business Continuity

What will I be doing?

As a Lead Auditor you will be leading and managing projects to implement new, or changes to KCOM’s standards and compliance obligations. Leading, planning and conducting audits to maintain ISO/BS/Industry/Regulatory certifications in accordance with agreed deadlines, your role will involve planning and guiding external assessments as requested by customers, partners and assessment/regulatory bodies e.g. BSI, NCC  

You will also support the implementation of the Integrated Management System which integrates all of KCOM’s management systems, legal and regulatory obligations into one complete framework. 

What do I need to do this job? 

Specialist skills and experience 

Essential:      

  • Lead Auditor in either ISO27001 or ISO22301            
  • Internal Auditor           
  • ISO/BS Standards      

Desirable:

  • PCI DSS         
  • Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus
  • SSAE18         
  • ITIL v3
  • General Data Protection Regulations Metering and Billing Direction
  • ETSI Quality and Service Requirements
  • Integrated Management Systems
  • NHS N3 IGSOC
  • Public Services Network        

This role also requires:

What are my hours of work?

You’ll be working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Location

This role can be based at either our Hull Salvesen Way or Wakefield offices, and does require national travel so a full driving licence and use of a car is essential.
