We are currently recruiting for an Inbound Sales Advisor to join our team in Exeter. In this role, you will provide a high level of customer service and sales skills in order to attract new customers, up and cross sell to existing customers. You will maximise every opportunity to generate and retain the maximum margin whilst ensuring complete customer satisfaction

More specifically, you will be responsible for;

  • Maximise sales (new sales, cross sale, up sale) opportunities, converting all potential enquiries to products and services
  • Build effective relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing relevant solutions and products, whilst maximise margin for our business
  • Make outbound calls as required in line with specific campaigns, marketing activity and leads generated by the business
  • Ensure all phone calls, emails and leads are managed in line with quantitative and qualitative objectives of providing exceptional Customer satisfaction
  • Undertake all work with the full understanding and application of Data Protection law and principles. 
  • Liaise with suppliers and other departments (internal and external) to resolve user problems and maximise opportunities to sell and retain
  • Adhere to all appropriate processes and procedures and recommend improvements where appropriate
  • Balance results with productivity and good use of time to ensure every opportunity is answered and converted
  • Evidence knowledge of competitors and market and share this knowledge with others
  • Work as a key part of the team, sharing responsibility for own and others motivation and contribution
  • Log all activities accurately within agreed and required standards, methods and systems

To be successful in your application you will be able to demonstrate the following experience;

  • Be pro-active and motivated to achieve and exceed targets
  • Have previous sales experience (ideally gained in a technology focused organisation)
  • Be willing to learn about new technologies
  • Be proficient in customer interaction through excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal & relationship management skills
  • Experience of working to KPI’s
  • An understanding of KCOM’s products, services & systems
